I don’t wish to list items in the past so why doesn’t the time bar keep up with the present rather than start on 1/9/16? When I start a new event I’ve got to drag it forward to the present day - this is stupid.

are you referring to the GarageSale scheduler in GarageSale 7?
I just tried to reproduce it here but for me the current date is displayed/selected.
Feel free to post a screenshot - maybe this makes it clearer what you’re referring to.

I can scroll forward to the present but it always starts here. There’s no need for it - my time machine is broken.
