Can the CTRL+OPTION/ALT "preview" keystroke be changed?

I regularly use my Mac’s zoom functionality, and the CTRL+OPTION keystroke seems to be the locked-in command to bring up the instant magnifier window. I don’t see any options to change that keystroke in the OS, and the only way to deactivate the shortcut is to turn all Zoom functionality off. I’d prefer not to have to constantly go back and forth between Garagesale and System Preferences->Keyboard->Shortcuts->Accessibility, but do I have another option?

Hi,

CTRL+OPTION is not the default keystroke for the zoom function, is it?

However, is it an option for you to change the keystroke for the zoom function? You can do this in the
System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts (Accessibllity)

Regards, Kristian

It’s not the default for the Zoom function per se, but it’s the non-adjustable keystroke for a temporary zoom. I finally found the on/off toggle for that specifically In the Zoom panel of the Accessibility Preference Pane under More Options…:

Thanks for the update. I guess we need to come up with a way to configure the preview shortcut in GarageSale. Hmmm…
