I upgraded through the app and it has been importing the data base for over an hour and the bar seems not to be moving, how long should this take, how do I know if it is hanging?
For large databases, the import process can take a while. In case GarageSale is still busy importing, you should see a GarageSale Importer process in the “Activity Monitor” utility (under /Applications/Utilities) consuming a significant amount of computing power.
Thank you ilia, I left it overnight and it was complete in the morning…so I don’t know how long it took but it did finish…Now to learn the new program…(:), Joyce
