OUCH! I have still been using “30 days” for all my Fixed Price Listings. (Hoping that eBay will reverse this change!) I see that now they are “automatically” converted to GTC. OK…

Sooo… In Smart Groups, for the Duration trigger, what is the textual value for “GTC”???

How do I test for GTC, or NOT GTC in a Smart Group Duration field? This field is a TEXT field, and the “values” I have been using are “30”, “7”, “5”…

Have you tried putting in „1000“? Don’t have access to the code at this moment. (I’m at the eBay Developer Conference at the moment)

Just did. That works!

Anybody else having a problem creating Smart Groups? Every time in the latest and the previous beta it crashes.

Thanks for letting us know. I’ll check the crash database for these crashes.

Here I have some suggestions/possible problems that I collected during last weeks:

  1. “use multiple connections” in launch control when starting listings is not always remembered. After a little time it is reset and have again to select the option.

  2. [from whenever I use GS] why can’t I select a list of listings if I press shift and click between images? I expect listings in the middle to be selected, but they are not. If you switch to list view it works: see VIDEO

  3. there must be some issue in smart folder for watchers. This is months it does not update (also clicking on or doing another one). The right one is about 1100, not 700…

P.S. I know there must be tons of stuff with synch, this is just to focus and point definitely some issues that otherwise I risk to forget to report…

I found your crash log, but it’s not clear why the crash is happening at your place. We added an extra panel to show additional information in case that special condition is triggered again in Beta 48. Please give that one a try once released.

Ok in 48 it says the following:

“Caught exception will configuring row for key startedAccountID, type accountID”

Once I click ok it will let me create the smart group. But happens every time.

That’s strange. Do you have any eBay accounts in GarageSale authorised?

This is probably too obvious but could it be that one of your eBay token just needs to be refreshed and/or you have to select “Update All Listings” from the Listing menu?

I tried the “Watcher” smart group rule here and for me it works as expected sot it doesn’t seem to be a general issue.

Regards, Kristian

I fiddled around with the code a litte, can you check if this version solves the problem:

Hello Kristian,
unfortunately this is not the problem. I have just updated the token, deleted the smart folder and recreated from zero, it still shows the same number as before. There must be something wrong, but I don’t understand what…

Thank you

Ok thanks. There were two accounts in preferences. It wasn’t signed in and the good one was set as default. Anyways I deleted the duplicate bad one, refreshed the token and it works now. Thank you for helping!
