Should EVERYONE do this step???
Even if I have never experienced the Ghost Listings???

Will this take a while??? I have 54702 listings…

@neal just anticipated me about this worrying news…

Yes, better safe than sorry.

Probably, but I estimate less than 5 minutes. You can watch the Console utility as GarageSale logs if it finds a missing reference count in your database.

@ilja will this make disappeared ghost listings reappearing or will this just make “safe” the listings I now have visibile in my database and prevent further ghost?

P.S. The debug took less than 10 second, is that normal?

Possibly. The fix is pretty straightforward and isn’t computational intensive.

Thanks for clarification. So maybe it’s time to start again the synch from zero (since last issues we discussed about quite recently…), hopefully ghost are gone…

What’s gone is unfortunately gone and cannot be brought back, unless you export/import from GS7 again.

It will only prevent ghost items caused by this particular bug in the GS7 importer.

That’s not a big issue for me, the situation now is quite normal, it is a bit I don’t see disappeared listings in the first Mac (in the second it happened recently, I discovered last week 3 totally empty folders and I blocked synch).

So there still might be something within the synch… I will see…

And beat me to it as well

OK, Done. WOW!!!

“fixed refCount for storage key” for over 2200 items. SEVERAL different key types.

Only took less than 15 seconds for 54932 listings and 25854 orders.

Here is Console output below.
