GS8 Beta 46 Listings Info Blank

Slowly, more and more of my listings are going blank. So far, in 2 separate group folders.
Tried Auto Repair and Rebuild Indexes. No help.

Hi Steve,

could it be that you have Synching enabled in the GarageSale preferences > GarageSale Pro?

Synching is disabled. I did send a crash report yesterday. GS8 crashes if I try to delete these blank lines. They are not deleted. Seems I can’t get rid of them.

Exactly what happened to me with synching time ago! If you manually move them to trash you should be able to empty, deleting with bin icon or right click crashed with me as well. Then restore from backup…

Could you please give this another try?:

  1. Start GarageSale and immediately click and hold down the ctrl-key.

  2. A small window should appear allowing you to enable “debug options”.

  3. Select “Remove ghost children from groups” and hit Continue.

  4. Give GarageSale some time.

Can you pinpoint the ghost listings to an action of you? Are you using the new „Move Selected Items to“ command?

I was not using ‘Move Selected…’
That seems to be working fine. I’ll pay more attention if it happens again and get back to you.
