High Sierra Crash on Launch

I have upgraded to High Sierra on my Mac and GS 7.00.9 will not launch, just crashes after bringing up a screen box “Updating Index”

Downloaded 7.0.9 again but same issue. Another Mac identical was upgraded and no issue with GS.
Help?

Maybe your GarageSale database got corrupted somehow. Maybe GarageSale is able to repair it. Please follow these steps:

  1. Start GarageSale and immediately click and hold down the ctrl-key.
  2. A small window should appear allowing you to enable “debug options”.
  3. Select “Auto-repair corrupt database” and hit Continue.
  4. Give GarageSale some time.
  5. If done, restart GarageSale and immediately click and hold down the ctrl-key. Disable the “Auto-repair corrupt database” checkbox.

Regards, Kristian
