I’m trying to upgrade GS to version 7. After clicking on the downloaded zip file I saw some kind of message about a failed helper app or something. It disappeared before I was able to write down exactly what it said. From there I’m looking at a possible stalled installation/importing database. My database might be large (800+ current listings and a lot of old templates from years of listing). How long should this importing database take? At what point should I pull the plug on this attempted upgrade. If I do quit this process then what? Help, please.
The message was “couldn’t communicate with a helper application.” I cancelled my initial attempt to upgrade. When I tried again this is the message that I got. My importing database might be stalling again.
