I have just noticed on my 2 most recent listings that the images seemed to be processed while being uploaded to eBay. This appears only on the eBay website and not in the listing editor in GS. Has anyone experienced this behaviour before?

As far as I can tell the images are NOT processed when uploading to GarageSale’s image service. What do you have selected in the GarageSale preferences > eBay > eBay Images?
What you might want to check is if the images use a certain color profile. (check the original images)
