Importing a live auction I created in eBay.com doesn't import the active listing

Sorry for the newbie question… but the subject says it all - I created a new auction using ebay.com (not GS) and now I’m trying to import it to track it but it keeps being imported as if it’s not a active listing but a new one.

What am I doing wrong?

It seems that the same listing already exists in GarageSale.
In GarageSale 7, a listing can only be used once to start a listing on eBay. If you import the same listing, GarageSale handle it is a “prepared” listing.

If you use the search field in GarageSale you probably find several copies of the listing in question, including the active one.

That is actually the default behaviour, but in your case it seems that there’s already an existing instance for the listing you are trying to import in GarageSale. In that case, GarageSale imports your listing with item ID and without current state.

Have you tried searching for the listing by its listing id? Also, it might be in the Deleted Listings folder.

Sure, GarageSale should import it as active as long as there’s no other instance of the same listing already existing in GarageSale.

Nope. I have ONE other listing in GarageSale right now. And it’s not the one I’m trying to import. That other listing works fine but it’s the one I created and started from within GarageSale itself.

Can you please give this a try:

1. Open the GarageSale preferences > Accounts. Click on “Refresh Token” to refresh your eBay access token.
2. If done, select “Update All Listings” from the Listing menu.

If this won’t help:
What do you see if you select the imported listing in question and open the “Live” mode? Does it load the eBay website there?

I think you might have helped solve it. I just refreshed the token, and imported the listing created on eBay outside of GarageSale and now it’s being tracked perfectly.
