Uploading new listings

Hey, brand new to GS and need a little direction on how to upload data from my PC to create listings. I have read many different things and so confused. Maybe a sample file would help as well. Thanks

Hi and welcome to GarageSale,

to start (upload) a listing from within GarageSale, simply hit the “Start” button in GarageSale’s toolbar.

What I meant was I want to upload a CSV file into GS. What is format for

GarageSale can import CSV files to create inventory items:

The import inventory works fine. I want to import listings. Saw an example of XML in your documentation, need to know what kind of file it goes into. Tried many different file types and when I select it says nothing selected.

You can’t import listings using CSV but XML.
