I just got a new remote backup service and want to make sure that if I suffer another catastrophic loss of everything, I need to have my current GarageSale8 files backed up so I can restore them easily.
In order to make sure that happens, I need to identify which folders need to be backed up.
But help!
My problem is that due to the aforementioned catastrophic loss, Have 13 folders on my computer that are named “com.iwascoding.garagesale” in various forms.
Where are my current GS files kept?
In Garagesale, choose “Help” menu > “Open Library Folder”. The folder that opens is the one you should include in your backup.
Highlight the folder and do a Cmd-I to bring up the info window and look at the ‘Last Modified Date’
This will be added insurance that you are looking at the currently used folder.
