Access to website blocked - GarageSale 8.2.1

I just upgraded to version 8.2.1 and I’m getting a warning that there is a missing PayPal address… when I try to set it up, I get the error “access to website blocked”. Please help!

Unfortunately, it’s unclear why eBay sometimes shows that “Access Blocked” page.
This is what you might want to check/give a try:

• Update your macOS and Safari version

• Make sure that nothing is blocking your network. Check if you use a VPN, proxy server, Firewall, Ad blocker,…

• Delete your eBay access token from the Keychain and try to fetch a new one:

  • Quit GarageSale if running.
  • Open the macOS “Keychain Access” application and enter “GarageSale eBay Account” in the search field. (If you don’t find anything try it with “ebay token”.)
  • Right-click on the eBay account token in the Keychain and select “Delete”.
  • If done, restart your Mac, start GarageSale and add/refresh your eBay access tokens in the GarageSale preferences > Accounts.

Was it just a temporary issue with the eBay page?

I ended up upgrading my mac OS and that did the trick.
