Will GS8 accept images in Apple’s .HEIC image format and convert them to .jpeg for upload to eBay? Or must the image conversions be made before importing into GS?
On current macOS versions, GarageSale should be able to work with .heic image without issues. Just tested this on macOS 11.5. Big Sur.
GarageSale uses macOS system functions to identify image files and convert them to JPEG for uploading to eBay. So, as long you aren’t running a very old version of macOS, you are fine.
