Using GS 9.8.3 under macOS 14.7.3. Closed a listing a few moments ago. Confirmed it is closed by viewing the live listing. But the icon in GS remains blue in the sidebar as if it were active. GS does not see it as closed. In the “…” menu in the toolbar, the “Relist Listing” is greyed out and just “Stop Listing” and “Revise Listing” are shown.
So while I am able to stop a listing, GS doesn’t think so, and will not allow me to relist the listing as a result. Using eBay US. Help?
Sigh. Quick update. After trying more times - I failed to note I restarted GS when the issue first appeared - I used the “Show listing in browser” feature and that “forced” GS to display the listing as grey and allow me to relist it. Any idea what happened?
In such situations, it usually helps to:
a) refresh the eBay access token in the GarageSale preferences > Account
b) forcing GarageSale to update listing states manually by selecting “Update All Listing” from the “Listing” menu.
…c) make sure you are using the most recent GarageSale version
Thanks, @kristian ! I forgot to also mention that I did in fact …well, almost do #1 - I did the “Update Account Details”. For some reason I thought that was the button to use when stuff like that happens. Now I know it’s the one above - the token refresh. Thanks!
And goodness - there are so many menu items I never realized existed. That’s a good one to know, thank you again! [I just recently discovered the “delete all images with listing” menu item which is super useful for me when replacing a listings images before listing it].
I have to jump on the 9.9 train soon. Just need to make sure I can do so with my laptop at the same time so that syncing remains working [something I haven’t done in a while so clearly I need to get on the laptop and make sure things are working there].
