Cannont update to new version

I had to move to an other mac because my iMac died after 3 Hours of gaming. Now i have restored my backup and wanted to upgrade Garagesale but it says i don’t have rights. I removed the Program from the Application Folder and i reinstalled it. But it still says i have no right. Did a chmod -R 777 on the Program, still no right. So i think it want to write somewhere else.

Can you install GarageSale 7.0.10 if downloaded directly from our website?

Also, have you run the “Disk First Aid” command on your disk from the Disk Utility?
