# characters left in title not showing in Editor Mode

Ever since upgrading to 7.0.16b2 (839), from GS 7.0.15?, the “# left” no longer shows up in Editor Mode sometimes/most of the time. It always shows up when I launch the app, then stops showing up at some point in time after I have been editing titles. And never shows up again, until I Quit and relaunch the app. This “feature” is extremely handy to quickly see how many characters I have left that I can add to the title!

This has always worked in the past.
I also recently upgraded from macOS 10.12 to macOS 10.13.6 (17G65).

Hi Neal,

Thank you for your feedback. I just tried it here but wasn’t able to reproduce this issue so far.
However, we’ll keep an eye on this. Maybe it has to do with macOS 10.13?

Do you see any log messages coming from GarageSale when the issue occurs?
