This video from a eBay mentor expresses what I’ve been saying for many years.
A very interesting video. It seems that the increased fees are for US sellers but they will no doubt flow on to Australia. We all know that eBay is a bit greedy.

At the moment, I would say that my fees under Managed Payments are only marginally higher than when I used paypal. However, the ability to list 200,000 items for free each month far outweighs the small increase and my sales have at least doubled. Plus I do not have to play stopping and starting listing games to prevent re-lists and the associated fees.
However, I would love to see a real global challenger to Ebay to drive down the fees. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know and I will give it a go.
