I am using GS Version 6.9.7 (625). Is there a way to remove any template at the bottom where the description goes?

Sure, just unselect the “Design” checkbox in GarageSale’s Editor mode.

However, to make your listing compliant to the new eBay policies you should consider to use GarageSale 7!
