GarageSale 7.0.8 on MacOS 10.11.6 using Pro: Sidebar Design
store category links are all returning a
"Something went wrong. We’re sorry.“ page on eBay
here is a sample sidebar link generated by GarageSale:
https://stores.ebay.com/dkinggallery_Signed-and-Numbered-Posters_W0QQfsubZ16247653
a working link retrieved from within my eBay store is:
https://www.ebay.com/str/dkinggallery/Signed-and-Numbered-Posters/_i.html?_storecat=16247653
How can we resolve this? We have over 10,000 items on eBay and none of the sidebar links are working.
I found a closed thread in the forum which refers to the same problem:
Greetings,
Had a buyer notify me that my category links in my Pro: designs are not working (See first attached image) and lead to a “server not found” message (See second attached message) when clicked. Here is what I’ve done so far to try and resolve this:
Re-download categories from Ebay.
Re-download Pro: Templates, specifically Pro:Compact: Version 2.7 and Pro: Classic Version 2.6
Upgrade to latest version of Garage Sale. 7.0.16 (841)
Turn categories off and then on again in the “Advanced”…
at the end someone refers to having corrected the issue using GarageSale 8.
Is there a beta version of GS8?
Hi d.king,
the first thing you should try is to update to GarageSale 7.0.16. This might already fix the issue for you.

I updated to the latest GarageSale, re-authenticated my eBay access token and updated eBay categories.
It does not fix the issue. It returns a different broken link of the type:
http://cgi6.ebaystores.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewStoreV4&_rdc=1
@kristian we already discussed about it here Category links in Pro: design templates not working this is a bug as I already reported. If I revise a listing whose links work with the current version of GS7, links stop working

The bad links generated by the older version are preferable since they at least stay within eBay. The bad links generated by the latest update are non-https and lead to insecure browsing notifications outside of eBay
