Looking over the GS website, I noticed that the 24 image limit on eBay’s side can be made into 30 or 50 images if you use the GS image service. I’ve often gone over the 24 image limit - the GS template will still show all the images, but the ebay image browser only shows the first 24. I assume that if one uses GS’ picture service, the ebay image browser allows 30 or 50 images? I have GS Pro, and the feature states that it supports up to 50 images if using the GS picture service.
Can this be extended to those who self host their images with their own FTP or WebDAV server and also subscribe to Pro? Thanks for considering this.
Aaah, okay. Thanks for the clarification! When I was looking at the iwascoding GS product page, it mentioned the limit being higher [30 and 50] if one uses the GS picture server. I took that to mean the 24 limit gallery at the top of a listing was extended - my bad!
[I have put listings up with 30 images - the 24 show up in the gallery at the top of the listing, and the other images show up in my template, but I know not many will scroll that far in the template, so having more slots open in the gallery at the top was what interested me the most, but since that’s a hard limit with eBay, never mind. Thanks for clarifying that!
My preferences are set to GS free picture but I am limited to 24 pictures. How do I add more pictures? The drop zone is at the bottom of the listing but the little thumbnail showing the pictures at the top only allow 24.
UPDATE I think I see. I can add more than 24 but they don’t show up at the top of GS or on the picture thumbnails (gallery) on the ebay web site but they do show up in the description. The ebay APP only allows 24 pictures in the thumbnails(gallery) BUT I can find the extra pictures when I click on “See Full description”
Correct. Just the gallery on eBay’s website/app is limited to 24. The 30 or 50 image threshold is for images shown in the description [using a template or not, in GS].
