Feature Request: Select field when entering it

Using 9.9.2 [I know, I know, I need to update…], so maybe this has changed in future versions. If not:

Order screen - Actual Shipping and Item Cost fields both default to 0.00. If one tabs into the field from the Tracking ID field, then the values of each field [after tabbing into them] are selected - perfect!

But if one clicks into the field with a trackpad/mouse, the field is not selected, and typing simply pre-pends the typed value in front of 0.00. Is there any way to have the field selected upon clicking, like the keyboard tabbing into the field does?

If I understand correctly, what you describe is the normal/default behaviour. If so, we most likely won’t force change it.

What might work for you is to simply double-click on the value to select it all (or hit cmd-a on your keyboard). It’s an extra step, I know
