I get different results for file names and file modified dates and file created dates when I drag-and-drop images files to the Desktop verses when I Export Images…

Is this the intended behavior??

Neal

Not intended, but I guess that’s what you end up with if you only do the minimum work. :grimacing:

  • Export images: GarageSale has full control and is in charge of copying the files to the destination folder

  • Dragging images: GarageSale creates drag objects backed by files, the application that receives the drag (e.g. Finder) is responsible for creating files at the correct destination from the drag.

Which behavior do you prefer?

“Which behavior do you prefer?”

I think the Export images behavior makes more sense…

Filenames with image-index position number, and original file dates.
