Hi,

I am still having issues despite updating to your latest version Version 6.9.6 (618) with the EAN barcodes. I am trying to list a new item under Toys & Games which is a valid barcode and I get an error “21919301 -EAN is missing a value. Enter a value and try again.”

I have tried to see if the barcode works on eBay and it does.

I have sent you an e-mail with screenshots. Hope you can help.

I’ve got a bit of puzzler. We’ve been making templates on one machine using version 6.9.6 and they seem to be fine ( they verify and can be uploaded ). If we open the saved template on a different machine running the same version of software verification fails. The error we get is ‘EAN is missing’ as above. If we remove the value and replace it with "Does not apply’ it still fails. I have checked that both machines are running the same version of the software and are on the same OS ( 10.10.4 ) but yet the two machines behave differently. Any ideas?

Hi Rufus,

on your other machine update the eBay category data. To do so open the GarageSale preferences and update the categories in the Categories tab.
Choose ‘Download Anyway’ if prompted.
(Make sure the correct eBay site is selected in the GarageSale preferences>General.)

Back in Template mode check re-select the category.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I tried but no joy. However, I have since removed the application and preferences and reinstalled and it is now working again.
Sorry, there must have been some corruption in there somewhere.

Guys ,

Im having trouble updating to the latest version 6.9.6

Im currently using version 6.9.5 and when I hit install update it downloads to 99.98% and stays
there for a while and then says error try again later.

Iv tried for days now same thing happens.

Any Ideas ?

Have you tried downloading the GarageSale 6.9.6 from our website http://www.iwascoding.com/GarageSale/ and installing it manually.
