Synching

System Requirements

  • GarageSale 8 requires OS X 10.12 or later

This sounds interesting, but did not understand what it actually is. Does it fix the relisting issue reported here? https://help.iwascoding.com/t/cannot-work-while-gs-is-relisting-selection-keeps-changing-on-its-self/5777

Anyway, if this is the last line under advanced preference, look out, there must be an issue with panel size!! It can be enlarged so I can’t see it…

Actually, SOME Smart Groups not working at all with Beta 54…

Even one as simple as this now returns 0 zero listings…

“Help” for the new checkbox did not get updated…

There must be something wrong here, I can’t see that line as screenshot shows…

Seems I broke smart groups in that release. Wondering why automated tests didn’t catch this?

Thanks for noticing.

I see. For some reason that panel uses hard code height values for the different tabs. :man_facepalming:

Since one of the grey explanations labels use two lines in Italian vs. a single line in English, the last checkbox in Italian is cut off. Next release should fix this.

Thanks for explanation!

Since v. 51 or so the program does not seem to recognize new updates are available. I have to manually install. Any reason why? Also every time I manually install it seems my sync gets screwed up and I have to redo my database. UGG

Do you see beta 55 (just released) offered via the update at this moment?

What are the symptoms you are seeing?

Do you see beta 55 (just released) offered via the update at this moment?
Yes this time.

What are the symptoms you are seeing?
It is just a general error that says database can not sync. Or does a sync loop where it shows the sync bar for a second then goes away over and over. The only way I can fix it is by picking my most up to date garagesale computer and redo the database.

Confirmed with the latest update my sync doesn’t work again.
