System Requirements

  • GarageSale 8 requires OS X 10.12 or later

I was just reading thru the list above to refresh myself on all the new and improved features in GS 8!!

WOW!! What a Great Release!

But… I’m not sure where this new preference is???

Also, is this still “(not done yet)”???

Hi Neal, it’s available in the GarageSale preferences > Orders. A new option “Buyer Account” has been added to the “Orders Title” menu.

Is Synchronization available in this release yet? Thanks!

Synching is not working at all for me since three days. I sent data to @ilja but I suppose he is currently away…

When will be the final release of this awesome Software ??

Hi oliverkeim,

Sorry, we can’t give you a release date for the final version yet.
Keep an eye on this user forum and our blog!

Will the ability to update the app from the “Check for Updates” be working under macOS 10.15?

For all the GarageSale 8.0 betas, the app’s update function fails under macOS 10.15 public betas. I understand it’s still a “beta” OS from Apple, but it will be released soon so having GarageSale 8.0 (also still in beta) be able to check for and install updates from the app instead of having to manually download a new app from your website and replace it each time is preferred.
I assume it has to do with some of the security features added or changed in macOS 10.15.

Hopefully. We are still in process of tuning our build system for Apple’s new requirements.

@ilja @kristian I’m currently using V7 and am happy as a clam. How long will it continue to be supported?

Hi mook,

I can’t give you certain date but as long as eBay or Apple don’t introduce changes that require too much effort to be implemented in the (then) old GarageSale 7 version you can still use GS7.
