Running GS 9 and switching back to GS 8

Since GarageSale 9 uses a different application identifier, you’ll need to grant it access to each eBay token in your Mac’s keychain. When the system displays such a permission panel, please click the ‘Always Allow’ button if available.

GarageSale 9 will copy all your data from GarageSale 7 or 8 into its own library folder. In case you are encountering problems you can always switch back to GS 7/8 and continue were you left off before switching to GS9.
You’d need to use the GarageSale’s import/export functions to bring back listings changed or created with GS9 into your earlier version of GarageSale.

Synching

GarageSale 9 uses a different data schema compared to previous versions. When GarageSale 9 connects to the sync server for the first time, your account is upgraded to this new schema version.
Afterwards, earlier version of GarageSale can longer connect to the sync server.

Cost

The costs for upgrading from an earlier version of GarageSale to version 9 are USD/EUR 19.99 for the single user license. If you purchased your license for GarageSale 8 after August 1st, 2021, your upgrade will be free.

GarageSale Pro subscribers don’t need to pay any upgrade fees to use GS 9.

System Requirements

  • macOS 10.12 or later

Ahhhh, It works! GS still shows the duplicates warning for those listings being ended and moved to the trash.

I am wondering if there could be an “Undo” added for when I accidentally delete a smart group. I get a lot of work into putting a multiple featured group sometimes 4 or more different features together and if I am working in that smart group folder and accidentally hit delete to remove a listing I loose the whole smart group folder and the undo in the dropdown “edit” menu doesn’t bring back the lost smart group.

yeah i would also like to be able to use undo more… e.g the other day i changed lots of skus… then i realised i had done them wrong, so could edit undo… had to redo them

All the best

I am getting ready to upgrade my laptop and was just checking to see if GS9 works with M1silicon Macs.

Im on an m1 mac mini with around 2000 items… i can select all and bulk edit on it without any lag or loading time… 100% banging!

Update on capturing the “Views” on listings. All the old listings created before 4/30/22 are still updating the views accurately and match the count on ebay. All the new ones after 4/30 do not and stay at “0” BUT they are capturing watchers and display them in GS.

Comparing to the data shown at your “My eBay Active” page, I assume? (Also I am assuming this link works on other eBay sites outside the US, but you might need to make a manual change?)

Manage Active Listing page. I’m in USA. I’m not sure I can send the link without it sending you my page however the link you posted above landed me on my page. There is way more info per listing than the page you sent above. The Manage Active Listing page has promoted, send offers, sent offers, best offers, multiple quantities, research prices, and the ever annoying “add item specifics”. It is a very versatile page and it is customizable for your own likes.
