Feedback…A simple ask?
A running listing should never be allowed to be put in the trash. I need/want GS to track all my running listings so no running listings should be allowed to be moved to trash. I made a wrong key punch and later found some in the trash.

And a not so simple ask… A menu bar button to close all open “GROUPS”. Some of my groups are getting long and smart groups contain all running listings so scrolling up to the top to close a folder gets long and cumbersome. After GS does work in a folder GS leaves the folder opened so scrolling to the top takes some work sometimes.

Not a solution for this problem but did you know that you can close/open all groups inside a group by clicking on the triangle icon of the parent group while holding down the alt key?

Yes but if you are at the bottom of the stack you have to scroll the whole way to the top to get the triangle icon and hold down the key. If GS leaves all or many folders open that is a lot of scrolling to get to the top

The “Home” and “PageUp” keyboard keys should also work…

ARGH!!! Where have those keys been all my life??? What kind of wizard invented them? I am but a novice…Pro tip of the year award.

Would it be sufficient for you if we added an option to prevent the Trash from be emptied, when it contains running listings.

Yes, That would prevent loosing a running listing that inadvertently found its way into the trash. I try to remember to check before emptying trash but you never know when in a hurry there might be one in there.

How about a Smart Group rule for “in Trash”, then we could make a Smart Group showing running listings in the Trash…
