Suddenly this version has started to require “condition” in certain categories. The condition is greyed out and “Not Supported” is entered and changes in GS are not allowed. The listings are being prevented from being started

Can you please give this a try?:

  1. Update to GarageSale 9.9.2 if not done already.

  2. Open the GarageSale preferences > Accounts and click on “Refresh Access Token” to refresh your eBay token.

  3. If done, select one of the listings in question and open the category browser. In that browser click on the sprocket icon to update the category data.

  4. Re-select the category in your listing. Check the Condition menu afterwards.

Thanks, That cleared the listings and they posted.

Same problem here. After refreshing categories, it seems to work now. I am only worried if old listings saved information on condition or if this field has been updated and old settings lost… could not check thousands listings…

This “fix” did not work for me. Is there a way to go back to the previous version until you get this worked out?

Were you able to update your eBay access token? Did the eBay authorization process work for you?

Hi,

as we did not change anything in this release regarding condition or categories I think this is just an coincident with eBay changing the category data GarageSale downloads (e.g. after starting the new version). I did test the Books and CDs category and the conditions are downloaded and showed up fine here (eBay US, please always tell us on which eBay site you encounter your issues).

Thanks,
Paul

Yes I updated my token. It was not working yesterday, but seems to have fixed itself now…
