What’s new in GarageSale 9.9.4

  • worked around an incompatibility between macOS 26 Tahoe’s image export APIs and the image resizing code used by eBay’s picture service, which resulted in images uploaded to eBay appearing with “dull” colors when viewed with a browser. If you listings are affected by this, please use GarageSale’s Revise command to revise your listings images

Thanks for using GarageSale,

Tried the beta. They still look dull even after Revising.

Can you please give beta 5 another try?:

Ok, it is better now with beta 5. Picture quality doesn’t seem quite as good as the original photo, almost overexposed now.

FYI, I’m getting some really corrupted uploads now. Some are good, some are almost all black. Converting from heic to jpg I think fixes it.

Can yo send us the original HEIC image? Let’s see what’s going on here.

It seems I’m not able to upload HEIC images here, only jpegs. Is there a different place I should send them to?

Just sent you an email with the photos.

Thanks for the image files.

Here is a version that should fix the issue.

However, you need to remove the image which fails to correctly upload to eBay from your listings (or listings if you are are using the very same image in several listings) first, and then re-add the original .HEIC file in order to get the issue resolved.

Let me know if this version worked for you.

Seems to be working well now, thanks.
