Anyone else having issues listing at the moment
GS Server issues? or my network which seems fine for streaming etc.

Temporary glitch I think for about an hour. All seems ok, again.
I did have the problem for a little while yesterday, but also had the same problem (for different technical reasons) from my own ftp server at a different time. All the infrastructure seems a little more unreliable these days…
The one practical problem this can give rise to is those “ghost” listings, where the eBay version is running, but GarageSale has interpreted the second image upload as a failure and says it’s not. When I tried to re-launch after waiting a while, GS warned me these listings might be duplicates. And they would’ve been, too. So I had to manually kill the ones running on eBay before re-launching “clean” from my Mac.
I have seen this numerous times and it would be good to find out where the fault lies?
Any thoughts on this GS team?

Hi,
as our servers were all online and working the whole time it is hard to say what may have caused the issue. If this happens again, you can try to use some network debugging tools like ping and/or traceroute to find out more. But I ask myself what you can do after you find out that somewhere on the internet a router or switch had a hiccup.

I am quite au fait with both those Unix command and I might try them if it occurs again. (maybe a bit rusty). What is the IP address of your server?
