Garagesale lost categorys

Garagesale won’t allow me to create new products as it will not allow me to select which category a product is in . Also for existing lists the categorys on all listings are shown as unknown on the latest version if garagesale 7

It seems that your eBay category data is out-dated and needs to be updated.

Please give this a try:

  1. Open the GarageSale preferences > Accounts. Click on “Refresh Token” to refresh your eBay access token.
  2. If done, select one of the listings in question and open the category browser. In that browser click on the sprocket icon to update the category data.

If you’re still using GarageSale 7 make sure it’s the latest version 7.0.21 (or consider upgrading to GarageSale 8).
