Ghost spaces are back

I think these blank spaces are what you call ghosts? And all the dotted line listings don’t exist in my listings only show in a search. Many are showing up in searches now in 9.2b2

Do these ghost listings appear in smart groups only?

Not smart group searches but a standard menu bar search

Can you give this a try, please?:

  1. Start GarageSale and immediately click and hold down the ctrl-key on your keyboard.

  2. A small window should appear allowing you to enable “debug options”.

  3. Select “Re-build indexes”, then hit Continue.

  4. Give GarageSale some time to start up.

  5. Restart GarageSale. Any better now?

Maybe more steps are required here:

Step A:

  1. Start GarageSale and immediately click and hold down the ctrl-key on your keyboard.

  2. Select “Remove ghost children from groups” and “Find orphaned listings” in the “debug options” panel, then hit Continue.

  3. Give GarageSale some time to start up.

  4. Restart GarageSale

Step B:

  1. Start GarageSale and immediately click and hold down the ctrl-key on your keyboard.

  2. Select “Re-build indexes” in the “debug options” panel, then hit Continue.

This cleaned up 29 of the blank listings with the "Lorem ipsum " and 100 some obscure listings ended and not in my folders but the search is still the same as the screen shot above. It’s not a big problem but they do clog up my searches for items.
