As reported earlier during the beta period, GS 10 still always shows the shipping address as the buyers invoice address… really annoying when trying to use it in combination with GrandTotal.
In GarageSale 10 we adopted a new eBay API to download a buyer’s registration address.

Are you saying that you are still experiencing that a buyer’s shipping address is shown as the buyer’s invoice address in some orders in GarageSale’s Order mode?
Did you notice that you often can switch between the display of shipping/invoice address there? -
Or is the only problem that the wrong address (the buyer’s shipping address) is transferred to GrandTotal instead of the invoice address?
Unfortunately, you never replied to our last answers in your previous post:
Yes. In all orders.
No, how can I do that?
Right, because the topic was closed before I could try the beta and answer. Instead, I sent you several PM with screenshots of affected orders in mid-August, including some of a competing product. Unfortunately, you never replied to those messages ![]()
Thank you, I found your screenshots you mentioned.
If GarageSale detects different shipping/invoice addresses, a popup will be shown allowing you to select between both addresses. It looks like this:
Do you see this popup in your newer orders? If so, is the correct invoice address shown there?
No, I don’t see that here, even with today’s orders, where shipping and invoice address are definitely different (shipping to a Packstation).
To clarify: addresses are different in eBay’s view of the order, GS shows the “Packstation” as the buyer’s address.
Can you please open the GarageSale preferences > Accounts and then refresh your eBay access token there?
Afterwards, please check your orders once again. That popup for switching between shipping/invoice address should at least appear for some of your orders.
Perfect, updating the token solved the issue. The popup now shows and I can select between addresses.
