This is more a feature request and maybe it is specialized, but as someone in an area hit hard by the recent storms, the infrastructure here is still being worked on. As a result, some days I am fully offline but have power. I want to work, so I try to use GS. But GS continues to nag and nag and nag with pop ups telling me it can’t sync and that I’m offline. They happen on a very regular basis and interrupt any data input I may be doing. Since I am working without Internet access, I do know I can’t sync [and turning off sync and back on, would then lock GS from being used for a long, long time due to my old school slow DSL connection]. I’d love a terminal command line setting that could disable those pop-ups. It probably is not worth putting this kind of setting in the preferences, but a hidden setting for this would be appreciated!
There is a “Paus synching” command hidden under “File”/“Synchronization”. Maybe that does the job for you?
