In less than a week, GS may no longer work with ebay.com. I know there’s a beta with a lot of other features and fixes in the works, but considering how important this bug is, will there be a hot fix coming soon? I rarely update to a GS version until it’s been tested as my business can’t afford to stop due to the tools breaking. But I am very unnerved by the fact that this entire month has gone by, and there’s still no fix for the non-HTTPS EPS issue, as this means we won’t be able to list items on eBay which is the main feature for this app. Is there a fix for just this issue that can be applied to 9.7.5?
We released the GarageSale 9.8 beta version some weeks ago that should fix the EPS error message:
I understand that, but I would never run a beta product on a production machine. That’s why I asked about a possible hot fix. I rarely update versions until I’ve read bug reports here and possible updates to the update are released. I can’t afford downtime or to be spending time debugging beta software. I used to do that long ago, but I run a shop that doesn’t give me the time to do that anymore, so I don’t install beta software on my production machine.
The final version of GarageSale 9.8 should be released soon. Translating took longer than expected, and it’s also vacation time, so that’s why this is delayed a little.
