Is there a limit to the number of images I can put in the drop zone for a single listing?

Sorry, can you clarify?

I know that if I list directly on eBay I get 12 images and unlimited if I host. But if I list via GS then I can upload 20 images. Have I got that right?

It depends on which image hosting you use!! If you use only GS hosting, you will be able to add up to 20 images per listing. If you use only EPS, you will be able to add up to 12 images. If you use EPS + GS, 32 images should be added. Otherwise, if you use your hosting, an unlimited number of photos will be allowed.
