Clicking the red x on the image library does not close it. I was using legacy mode and it was fine but after I turned legcy mode off, once the photos library is open it can only closeby restarting the program.
Could it be that you are using an older macOS system?
Apple’s image browser had this issue under older macOS versions. This is fixed when using the latest image browser. Using the latest image browser required macOS 13 or higher.
