Image Server Migration

Dear GarageSale Users,

tomorrow, 19th of November 2024, we want to migrate the server that hosts your uploaded eBay images to a new hardware. This will take place at around 12 o’clock CET and should be finished after around one hour.

Already uploaded images will be downloadable at all times, so they will be visible for your customers in the eBay listings. (Actually, downloading will be possible from the old server a few days after the migration).

We expect that the upload of new images will not be possible for about one hour. Afterwards, all services should be working as usual. As the IP/DNS of the hostname will change during the migration it may happen that your Mac, your router or the DNS server caches the old DNS entries for a longer time. In most cases it helps if you reboot your router and/or your Mac.

The server was migrated successfully and everything should work again as usual. Please let us know (either here or through a support email) when you experience any issue with the (new) image server.
