I have repeatedly tried to start some listings for the same kind of item and keep getting the warning that “Buyers love large photos so please upload high resolution at least 500 px on the longest side.” All of my photos exceed that requirement yet are still being rejected. I started seven other listings without any problems, so am perplexed as to why this is happening.
Here are some ideas:
-
Check your settings in the GarageSale preferences > eBay > eBay Images.
-
In GarageSale’s Editor Mode right-click on each image to open the context menu. At the bottom of the context menu the image size is shown. Do you see any values under 500px there?
Thanks for your quick response Kristian! The trouble was the shorter dimension of my images was below 500 px. The way the warning read in the Garage Sale interface lead me to think only the longest dimension needed to be 500 px or more, not that it was the minimum required for either dimension. Happy to have this cleared up now, all my listings have now posted, thanks!
