Is there a specific way to purge unused images from my FTP server?

I’m looking over the log files on my ftp image server, and the amount of storage used doesn’t seem to ever go down, despite losing more items to sales than I add in new listings. I’d like to make sure that unused files from listings that are not running right now can be deleted. There have been some crashes and times when I’ve switched from my own FTP to GS hosting and back, and I’m concerned some images are “detached” from listings and accumulating on my server.

Is there any way in GS to actively purge non-listing images? That is, to crawl through my active listings and list/delete any image not included in one of those?

I suppose if I get overwhelmed, I could halt all listings, delete all images, and re-upload the images in use. But that seems extreme.
