"Is your eBay listing mobile-friendly?" No!

Hi
I just tried eBays little tool for the upcoming changes and my listings fail!
Any simple guidelines to follow?
Any special tips?
Any straight forward built in solutions?

It’s a tough world out there!

Mike

Hi Mike,

I just replied to your support mail a few seconds ago.

Are you already using GarageSale 7?

Regards, Kristian

Hi
I’m using GarageSale Version 6.9.8b6 (631)

Hi Mike,

the listing designs in the old GarageSale 6 are not optimised for smartphones. How about upgrading to GarageSale 7?

Regards, Kristian

If someone upgrades to Version 7 What would be the process to convert the old listings to mobile compliant. – I have a few hundred created in version 6 -.

Also is using links to an image host such as photobucket considered active content?

If the template support it, advanced tab > mark “optimization for iPhone” > revise listing

Once upgraded to GarageSale 7 you need to revise your active listings so they use the new design versions which are optimized for smartphones.

Revise your running listing by selecting “Revise listing” from the “More” menu (the button with the three dots) in the toolbar.
See the help here:
https://manual.iwascoding.com/gs7/en/Listings_Section-Revising_Listings.html

The “Optimized for iPhone” checkbox is enabled by default in the “Properties” Inspector.

You can still insert your own images. You can also insert links to images but you have to add the target=“_blank” attribute:
