Been listing for about an hour. Just had a Connection Error pop-up come on. “A server with the specified host name could not be found.” As I said, I have been working find. The error popped up and then I noticed the update to 9.9.5. SO I did and relaunched. Still having the error. Any help with this? Who has experienced and what is the fix? Is GS down? Is eBay down? Thanks!
Probably a transient outage at the eBay servers that handle uploads. Depending on how you host your images, it could be the API server, the image server at eBay, or whichever service you use. These usually clear up after a little while, depending on the cause. If you use your own image hosting, you can check that one to see if it needs intervention..

Hmm, I use eBay image hosting. I think… So I guess I have to go and do something else for al ittle while…
This is the error I mentioned that I’m having…
Occasionally one or some of the servers eBay has provisioned for handling uploads (listing and images) will fall over like this. Or their internal cloud routing might be down, given the message.

Yeah it’s a bigger problem. I can’t stop listings in GS either. Perhaps the whole API system is down?

Ditto. I could not start or stop a listing, but I can use the ‘show listing in browser’ feature of GS, I noticed earlier that the eBay search option was having issues.
It appears that eBay works fine as I just made a sale and was able to ship and print my label as normal… WHo knows. Will keep trying.

Thank you for reporting. I have the same error. Before checking here, I tried to refresh my access token (often times that corrects whatever is going on, but that also did not work)
So glad this is an issue experienced by a few people. I will check back later or tomorrow it’s not a big deal to not list a few items this evening.
Related or perhaps unrelated, I actually sold two things on eBay today without any issue. Maybe it’ s just an issue with listing
update: I’m now logged out of eBay (via webrowser) and I am seeing the following error after attempting to login:

Same. Use chrome, not Safari in case anyone else is having the issue.
I think that was a temporary issue with the eBay system, and it looks like they’ve already fixed it. We’ve received replies that everything is working properly again. Can you confirm that?

Same here (ebay IT and DE)
all working correctly for me tonight. I just listed the item that wasn’t going yesterday thru the GS app. I’m also able to log back online via desktop web browser without any issues as well.
That looks to me like an error message from the eBay servers.
I just tried refreshing eBay tokens here and it worked without any issues so hopefully they already fixed it. Can you please give it another try?
