Long standing issue: GS shows shipping address as buyers invoice address

I have sent this in years ago already, but it is still not fixed:

GS always (!) shows a buyer’s shipping address also as the invoice address. That’s neglectable as long as both addresses are identical, but really annyoing when they’re not. I have worked around this for quite a while now and actually neede to purchase another eBay tool to make sure I create proper invoices. But now that I have just switched to “Grand Total” for invoicing due to the upcoming requirements for e-invoices and especially because I can create invoices in Grand Total directly from within GS, it becomes really annoying, because GS creates customer data in Grand Total with wrong data if it does not import the correct invoice address. I have to double check each purchase if the invoice address is correct or not and manually update customer data if not.

Any other eBay tool I know correctly imports those addresses. I would really appreciate if you could address this issue.

In GarageSale’s “Order” section the “Buyer Address” as well as the “Shipping Address” is shown. (Most of the time, they are the same, as you already pointed out.)

Is your request that GarageSale should use the “Buyer Address” instead of the “Shipping Address” for GT invoices or is the “Invoice Address” a third option that is currently not shown in GarageSale?¿

GS should of course use the Buyer Address for the invoice. But in order to do so, it needs to import the correct Buyer Address from eBay. Right now (for more than 4 years, at least that’s when I last reported the issue), it always shows the shipping address as Buyer address, never the actual Buyer address. According to GS, I have many buyers living in a “Packstation” :wink:
