Do you think a 24 hour pause helps?
In my experience, it has. I used to mass select items based on listing date, stop them, then re-list them while they are still selected in GS. Now I do that, but I keep the re-list windows open until the next morning and then I submit the re-listings. I do wish I could schedule that instead.
But I’ve found that giving the closed listings some time to generate eBay e.mails to ex-watchers of the items, and then generate a 2nd e.mail to ex-watchers stating that the item has been re-listed, often produces quicker purchases of the re-listed items.
As others have already said below, when you relist an item with GS its under a new eBay ID number and thus it loses its previous watchers and views.
Some legit watchers are able to add themselves back as watchers on the new listing by using a saved search in eBay account.
