I have lost all my Favorite Fonts in GS. I cannot add them back and thats always been wonky anyway.
Maybe a Mac thing as there were a few recent updates.
Running 10.12.4 and GS version 7.0.7 (795)

Are you favourite fonts standard system fonts or font you installed yourself?
They are generally system fonts but modified for color and size (Helvetica etc).
They appeared in the dialogue box and as usual did not show the colors/size
. I always just would swipe to delete one and they would then display correctly. When I went to swipe one they all disappeared. I attempted to re-ad them from the listings but they will not load.
