Hi,
sometimes I need to print certificates for sold items which includes data that are already in the listing (photos, title, item’s attributes and SKU). I use a standard template and then I manually just change information before printing. Very time consuming and I often forget something. I would love to print them from GS order with a click. I think this might be already possible, using templates like those for labels, but I have no idea how to do it. Is there any trick/advice for this purpose ?
Thanks for any help!!
Creating a template for the “Packaging Slip” print feature that includes the listing title and SKU should be easy to do. The first photo can be shown as well. However, at this point I am not sure about including the other photos and the item attributes but I will have a look at it and try to provide you with a simple sample template.
Are there any other listing details that you would like to have included?
@fedege96 Below you’ll find a simple “Item Overview” template that displays the most important details of the ordered items, including item attributes and images. Once installed, you can select it in GarageSale’s Order mode from the “Packing Slip” print feature.
Please try it out and let me know if it meets your needs.
This is what you need to do to install the “Item Overview” template:
Afterwards the “Item Overview” template should be available in GarageSale’s Packing Slip print feature.
Please note that displaying item attributes and (all) images is currently not officially supported by the “Packing Slip” feature so it might be that there are unknown issues.
Hi @kristian ,
first of all, thank you for your constant help!!
I didn’t reply earlier since I was looking for a little time to send you a sort of preview of what I need (I send it by private message). I send you a facsimile of certificate in order to give you a wise idea of what I mean. Adding only the first image might be fine since the first image of any listing contains both sides of the item. However, I need a one-page document for any single item included in the order. So if I have 10 items into the order, I need to export a pdf file with 10 pages, one for every item. All the rest of certificate is fixed (like logo and headers). Now I am using A6 format documents to print on (about) 10x15 size papers. Let me know if the facsimile I send you is enough clear to give an idea of what I mean.
I still have some debts of gratitude to settle with all of you from GS team… so, thank you again and stay sure I will honor my debts. This would be another major change in my work!
@fedege96 I just checked again bit haven’t received any message from you. Can you please send it once again? Thank you.
Please also give the template attached to my previous reply a try. Maybe it already fits your needs. Feel free to provide me with some feedback.
Sorry, I forgot to tell you about it! I don’t know why, but it does not display the image of the item. It is only a very short list with title, id number and Sku (more items into a unique page). The preview I sent you should give an idea of what I’m looking for.
