Private Comment Carryover GS7

I use the Private Comment box to keep track of where I purchased my items. If I enter info in the listing view, when the sold item shows up in the orders view, the Private Comments box is empty. I’m doing a lot of copying and pasting. Would it be fairly easy to write some code to carryover the info.
