As of today, 1st August, I cannot list an item with global shipping enabled.
When I try to list with global shipping I get an error message:
“Please disable the Global Shipping Program option or choose a different category.”
It doesn’t matter what category is selected, or what item is being listed, this message persists.
The only way round this is to deselect global shipping in the postage options, list the item, go back into me ebay account, locate the listing and turn global shipping again.
I suspect this has happened due to the new ‘ebay International Shipping’ ebay has introduced to replace global shipping which started today.
A quick fix for this would be much appreciated.
Also as of today almost all items I end and relist that are ‘new’ is bringing up an error message that I need to add the EAN in to the specifics (barcode) this is something I have not come across before, is this a glitch or a new must have requirement? So far I have one item that the system refuses to recognise the barcode.
