I am trying to modify and create a new template in the Design and Utility program, but even though I create or modify the templates, they are not being updated or added in GS.

which version of GarageSale/Design Template Utility are you using? Which version of GarageSale is selected in the Preferences panel of the Design Template Utility?

This is an outdated version and not compatible with GarageSale 9. Please try this version:
